My experience at Vantage Toyota York

On purchasing the car I was very happy with Mia and her service but since then unfortunately the service went downhill. I picked my car up and it had not been cleaned and it had a broken key. I also thought that it would have been serviced before giving to me the car has obviously been sat for a while for the brakes to be grinding. The mats were not even put in the car, they were in the boot with water stain marks on. I'm picking my car back up from the service I showed the service woman as we walked out over towards the car, the plastic trims were hanging off the arches; no biggie as they just click back in but very unprofessional. My car had just broke down as I come to Toyota and I was looking just to purchase a £7,000 car but with your Toyota Corolla just never really been able to afford one. Mia offered me the hire purchase and going over it I was delighted and went for this option. My first time of buying a practically new car and from a main dealer, I expected more and now I have seen a 25 plate at the same price, the same engine with lower mileage and no scratches and does not smell of dog when you turn the air con on in the car. I was charged for a none smoking, no pet, immaculate car at a top end price. The car has clearly had a dog in it a lot and it had quite a few scratches and now there is a newer model at similar price with no scratches and no dog smell. I used to work for BCA and pick up and deliver a lot of cars for dealers auction so I have visited many Toyota garages all over the UK. There is a lot of improvement that needs to be done at York Toyota. Even the courtesy car, not that it bothered me as I only needed the car to use, but with rubbish in it and someone's clothes it's just very unprofessional. The car is also not performing as it should. I would love to get the new, cleaner lower miles, same colour model that is now on the court in replacement and pay the difference. It doesn't make sense our non-smoking none pet car is the same price as a car that has been smoking in and had pets in which depreciates the value of the car but in this case no. By the end of the day this is my problem and I should have done my checks. I was desperate for a car as my car just broke down and trusted in Toyota.
